UNION COUNTY, GA (June 23, 2025) – Emergency crews responded to a serious single-vehicle accident Saturday that left one person injured and requiring air transport from the scene.
According to reports, the crash took place on June 21 along Loving Road in Union County. The vehicle was found in a position that made it difficult for first responders to access the occupant. Firefighters from Union County Volunteer Fire-Rescue Station 4 used forcible entry extrication tools to enlarge the access point and safely remove the driver.
Union General EMS transported the injured driver to a landing zone at Volunteer Fire Station 7. The individual was then flown by Life Force 6 to Erlanger Hospital for further treatment. The extent of the driver’s injuries has not been publicly disclosed.
Firefighters from both Station 4 and Station 13 assisted in the rescue response.
