According to reports, the collision occurred around 6:30 p.m. on June 28 at the intersection of Route 422 and North Water Street. Emergency crews arrived to find both drivers injured after the wreck. Officials said one driver was ejected from their vehicle and tragically pronounced dead at the scene due to the impact.
The other driver involved in the collision was transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment. Their current condition has not been released.
