San Antonio, TX (August 24, 2025) – Authorities have identified the man who died in a two-vehicle crash on San Antonio’s Southwest Side as 46-year-old Charles Seldon, according to the Bexar County Medical Examiner.

According to reports, the crash occurred around 6:00 p.m. on August 20 at the intersection of Cassin Road and the Interstate 35 South access road. Investigators say a Honda Accord driven by Seldon was traveling northbound on the I-35 South access road when it failed to stop at a posted stop sign and collided with a Chevrolet Impala traveling eastbound on Cassin Road.

Seldon was transported to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the Chevrolet was also hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

The San Antonio Police Department is actively investigating the cause of the crash.
