Conway, SC (December 14, 2025) – A serious two-vehicle crash early Thursday morning led to multiple injuries and required extrication operations on Highway 544 in Conway.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 12:56 a.m. on December 11 at the intersection of Highway 544 and Cox Ferry Road. Horry County Fire Rescue, along with the City of Conway Fire Department and Horry County Police Department, responded to the scene where victims were trapped inside vehicles. Fire crews deployed extrication equipment to safely remove those trapped.
Three people were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment of injuries sustained in the collision. The severity of those injuries has not yet been disclosed, and the investigation remains ongoing.
