Alabama, NY (August 4, 2025) — Authorities are investigating a complex and violent incident that left two people hospitalized with knife wounds on Monday morning on the Tonawanda Indian Reservation in Genesee County.
According to reports, deputies from the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene shortly before 7:30 a.m. following a report of a person suffering from a stab wound. That individual was airlifted by Mercy Flight to a hospital for treatment. During the investigation, authorities discovered a second victim also suffering from knife wounds, who was likewise transported to a hospital.
Sheriff Joseph M. Graff confirmed the case is still developing and involves three separate crime scenes: one in a field off Meadville Road, another on Meadville Road itself, and a third on Skye Road.
