Cumberland County, PA (January 18, 2025) – A section of Route 15 remains closed following a severe multi-vehicle crash caused by a wrong-way driver on Friday evening, according to PennDOT and local authorities.

The crash occurred between the Lisburn and Route 114 exits after a vehicle traveling southbound in the northbound lanes collided with multiple cars. Upper Allen Township Police received reports of the wrong-way driver at approximately 4:40 p.m. The red sedan, captured on dashcam footage by Holly Leahy, was seen heading south in the wrong direction on Route 15 shortly before the collision near mile marker 37.

At least four vehicles were struck and disabled in the crash. Multiple individuals sustained serious injuries, with one victim airlifted to Penn State Hershey Medical Center and others transported to local hospitals.

The crash remains under investigation, and authorities are working to determine what led to the wrong-way incident.
