North Hollywood, CA (October 4, 2025) – A violent single-car crash early Friday morning in North Hollywood left two people dead and two others injured, authorities confirmed.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 1:43 a.m. on October 3 along 11615 West Vanowen Street, just south of Lemp Avenue. A silver vehicle traveling westbound reportedly veered off the roadway, crashed into a utility pole, and struck multiple parked cars.
Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded quickly, using hydraulic rescue tools to extricate the victims from the wreckage.
A 30-year-old man in the rear left passenger seat was pronounced dead at the scene. A second person, whose identity has not been released, also died as a result of the crash, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner later confirmed.
Two additional victims, both 19 years old, were hospitalized, along with a 25-year-old man listed in critical condition.
