Ephrata, WA (August 5, 2025) – An early morning crash in Grant County sent two people to the hospital after a vehicle veered off the road in a suspected DUI incident.

According to reports, the accident took place just after 3:30 a.m. on August 4 along Highway 28, about one mile south of Ephrata. Authorities from the Washington State Patrol say the car was traveling east when it left the roadway and crashed into a ditch.

Both occupants of the vehicle were wearing seatbelts at the time and were transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Their current conditions have not been made public.
