Sedona, AZ (July 9, 2025) — An early morning rollover collision on Independence Day led to a DUI arrest after a driver fled the scene, leaving an injured passenger behind on Arizona State Route 89A. The crash happened around 2:52 a.m. on July 4, 2025, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZDPS).

According to reports, Highway Patrol State Troopers found that a vehicle had veered off the roadway and rolled up onto an embankment, leaving a passenger trapped in the wreckage with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The driver, a 19-year-old, fled on foot immediately following the crash.
