El Paso, TX (January 13, 2025) – A 77-year-old Las Cruces woman, Gloria Molina, tragically died after being struck by a vehicle in the parking lot of a gas station in El Paso’s Upper Valley. The incident occurred on Sunday, January 5, at approximately 12:40 p.m., according to the El Paso Police Department.
The fatal collision happened at a Speedway gas station located in the 4990 block of Doniphan Drive. Authorities reported that Molina had exited the gas station and was crossing the parking lot when she was hit by a 2023 Porsche Macan.
The vehicle, operated by a 23-year-old El Paso man, reportedly moved forward from a gas pump and struck Molina. She was airlifted to a hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries on Monday, January 6.
The accident remains under investigation, and no additional details have been released.
