El Paso, TX (January 19, 2025) – Several people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision early Saturday morning on Interstate 10 West at the Downtown exit.
El Paso police reported that the crash occurred just before 2:00 AM and involved four vehicles, including two SUVs and two trucks.
Two individuals in a Chevrolet Colorado sustained injuries in the collision. One suffered serious injuries, while the other had minor injuries. A third person traveling in a Toyota CHR-1 was also injured.
Following the crash, all westbound lanes of the I-10 Freeway at the Downtown exit were closed for approximately nine hours to allow for cleanup and investigation. The lanes reopened around 11:00 AM.
Authorities are still investigating the circumstances leading to the crash.
