Austin, TX (June 21, 2025) — A deadly crash Friday evening in southeast Travis County resulted in one fatality and left three others seriously hurt.
News sources show that Austin-Travis County EMS responded to the 2000 block of South State Highway 130 northbound shortly after 7:15 p.m. on June 20. The accident involved two vehicles, with one vehicle reportedly rolling over and trapping two occupants inside. A total of four people were involved in the wreck.
Medics pronounced one person deceased at the scene. The remaining victims were transported to nearby hospitals — one with life-threatening injuries and two others with serious injuries. Emergency personnel from the Austin Fire Department also assisted at the scene.
The Texas Department of Transportation reported full northbound lane closures on State Highway 130 Toll near State Highway 71 during the investigation. The lanes have since reopened.
