Houston, TX (August 15, 2025) — A multi-vehicle crash in west Houston claimed the life of an 82-year-old man Wednesday afternoon, according to local authorities.
According to reports, the incident occurred around 2:15 p.m. on August 13 in the 12100 block of Westheimer Road. Police say the driver of a white Ford Taurus was traveling westbound when the vehicle failed to stay in a single lane and struck three other vehicles: a gold Toyota Camry, a blue Hyundai Sonata, and a white Cadillac.
After the collisions, the Ford veered off the roadway and onto the sidewalk before becoming disabled. Emergency responders arrived quickly and transported the 82-year-old male driver to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Authorities believe the man may have experienced a medical episode just before the crash.
No other injuries were reported, and the investigation remains ongoing.
