Lacey, WA (October 28, 2025) – A deadly crash took place last Friday evening that claimed the life of a 67-year-old woman from Springfield. The incident unfolded around 7:20 p.m. on October 24 along Interstate 5 near the Nisqually Bridge in Lacey.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the woman was traveling northbound on the freeway when, for unknown reasons, her vehicle veered off the right side of the roadway and collided with a barrier. Following the initial impact, her vehicle crossed all lanes and struck the left-side barrier.
Emergency responders transported her to Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, where she was later pronounced dead.
