Greensboro, NC (September 8, 2025) – A young man was killed in a single-vehicle accident Sunday morning in Greensboro, prompting a road closure and a continued investigation.
According to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred shortly after 10:00 a.m. on September 7 in the 4400 block of Burlington Road. Greensboro police said 19-year-old Jamauri Miller was driving a Dodge Challenger westbound when he crossed the center line, veered off the road, and collided with a utility pole.
Emergency responders, including Guilford County EMS, arrived around 10:13 a.m. Miller was found with severe injuries and was later pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident led to the closure of Burlington Road between the I-840 east and west ramps for several hours while investigators and cleanup crews worked the scene. The roadway has since reopened.
