Boise, ID (June 20, 2025) — A 30-year-old McCall man has died following a serious crash involving three pickup trucks on State Highway 55 in Valley County earlier this week, according to Idaho State Police.
According to reports, the crash occurred on June 17 when the southbound driver of a red Ram 1500 veered into oncoming traffic, striking two northbound trucks — a silver Ram 2500 driven by a 25-year-old man from Kuna and a white Ram 2500 driven by a 35-year-old Emmett man.
The McCall man, who was not wearing a seatbelt, sustained critical injuries and was airlifted to a hospital, where he later died. The two other drivers involved were wearing seatbelts and were not hospitalized.
The collision resulted in a temporary closure of the highway while authorities investigated. Idaho State Police continue to examine the factors leading up to the deadly crash.
