Boise, ID (June 6, 2025) – A devastating crash Thursday afternoon in Boise has left one woman dead and another person injured.
According to reports, the collision occurred at approximately 3:25 p.m. at the intersection of West Chinden Boulevard and North Five Mile Road. Authorities say a truck traveling eastbound on Chinden Boulevard struck a sedan that was attempting to make a left turn onto southbound Five Mile Road from the westbound lanes.
An adult female passenger in the sedan was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. The sedan’s driver, an adult male, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital. The two occupants of the truck were uninjured.
The Boise Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit and Crash Reconstruction Team are leading the investigation. Chinden Boulevard was temporarily closed in both directions following the crash but has since reopened. The Ada County Coroner’s Office will release the victim’s identity once family notifications have been completed.
