Twin Falls, ID (June 20, 2025) — A two-vehicle collision on Interstate 84 near Twin Falls led to the death of one man and left another injured Wednesday morning, according to Idaho State Police.
According to reports, the crash occurred around 9:30 a.m. on June 18 in the westbound lanes at milepost 175. A 2017 Volkswagen Jetta driven by a 50-year-old Twin Falls man struck the rear of a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado, which was also traveling west. The Silverado, driven by a 68-year-old man from Burley with a 72-year-old female passenger, veered off the roadway and rolled onto the shoulder.
The Burley man driving the pickup was pronounced dead at the scene. The Volkswagen driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was flown by air ambulance to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The crash closed the westbound lanes for about three hours as emergency crews responded. Idaho State Police continue to investigate the incident.
