St. Louis, MO (January 5, 2026) – A catastrophic crash late Thursday night on Missouri Route 367 claimed the lives of two women and left several others seriously injured, according to officials.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 11:09 p.m. on January 2, just south of Chambers Road. Investigators reported that a 2016 Chrysler 300, driven by a 21-year-old man from Florissant, lost control while traveling northbound and veered sideways into oncoming southbound traffic. A southbound 2015 Mazda 3 struck the Chrysler on the driver’s side.
The driver of the Mazda, a 22-year-old woman from St. Louis, was pronounced dead at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. A 26-year-old woman in the Chrysler was declared deceased at the scene. Four other individuals, ranging in age from 18 to 31, were transported with serious or moderate injuries.
Both vehicles were totaled and towed from the scene. The investigation remains ongoing.
