Auburn, WA (September 6, 2025) – One man was killed and two others were hospitalized after a serious two-vehicle crash on State Route 18 near the Green River Bridge on Wednesday evening.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision occurred at approximately 8:12 p.m. on September 3. Authorities say the driver of a westbound vehicle lost control, causing the vehicle to spin and come to a stop facing the wrong direction—eastbound—on the westbound side of SR 18.
A second westbound vehicle then struck the disabled car.
The driver of the first vehicle, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene. Two individuals in the second vehicle were properly restrained and transported to Auburn Medical Center for treatment of unspecified injuries.
