Houston, TX (November 10, 2025) – Authorities have identified one of the three victims killed in a deadly DWI crash early Sunday morning in southwest Houston as 24-year-old Da’vion Perry.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the fatal incident occurred around 1:20 a.m. on November 2 at the intersection of Almeda Road and West Orem Drive. Police say 29-year-old Tony Jerome Oliver was driving a gray Chrysler 300 when he ran a red light and collided with a white Buick Enclave. The impact pushed the Buick into three other vehicles that were stopped at the traffic light.
Da’vion Perry, along with a 23-year-old male driver and a 21-year-old female passenger, all riding in the Buick, were killed in the crash. Perry and the male victim were pronounced dead at the scene. The female was transported to the hospital, where she later died.
Oliver, the at-fault driver, was hospitalized in critical condition and is now facing charges of intoxication manslaughter for the deaths of multiple people. The case remains under investigation.
