Murray, UT (August 6, 2025) — A woman was killed in a tragic hit-and-run crash late Thursday night in Murray, and police are now seeking the public’s help in identifying the vehicles involved.

According to reports, the incident occurred just after 11:00 p.m. on July 31 at the intersection of 4500 South and State Street. Authorities say the woman was crossing the street when she was struck by a dark-colored passenger car traveling eastbound. Moments later, a second vehicle — described as a dark-colored full-size truck — also hit the victim.

Both vehicles fled the scene without stopping. The victim was transported to a hospital in critical condition but later succumbed to her injuries.

Footage of the crash was captured by CollisionCam, and law enforcement officials have urged the public to review and share the video in hopes of identifying those responsible. As of now, no suspects have been named.

Murray police continue to investigate and are pleading with anyone who may have information to come forward.
