Houston, TX (November 12, 2025) – A tragic hit-and-run in southeast Houston claimed the life of one man and led to the arrest of a teenage driver in the early hours of Sunday morning.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the incident occurred at approximately 12:55 a.m. on November 9 in the 7000 block of Kassarine Pass. Authorities say a 15-year-old boy was behind the wheel of a red GMC Sierra pickup truck heading southbound when he first struck a woman with the truck’s side mirror. Moments later, the same truck fatally struck a male pedestrian who was also on the roadway.
