The fatal incident took place at approximately 3:44 a.m. on December 20 at the intersection of North 56th Street and Lancaster Avenue.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police, the cyclist was riding westbound on Lancaster Avenue and attempting a left turn onto North 56th Street when he was struck by a red SUV, possibly a Jeep Grand Cherokee.
