Brevard County, FL (January 13, 2026) – Two young motorcyclists were killed in a violent collision involving another vehicle on Sunday, January 11, in Brevard County, according to officials with the Florida Highway Patrol.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the deadly crash occurred near the intersection of Micco Road and Babcock Street. Troopers say a 24-year-old man and a 19-year-old man, both operating motorcycles, were reportedly speeding when they attempted to make a turn and were struck by a vehicle.
The impact sent both motorcycles off the roadway, where they caught fire. The riders were thrown from the bikes and landed in a nearby ditch. Sadly, both were pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver and a passenger in the other vehicle remained on site following the crash and were treated for minor injuries.
An investigation into the cause of the crash is still underway.
