According to the Maryland State Police, 65-year-old Dennis Ellis of Berlin was riding westbound on Ocean Gateway when a Jeep Grand Cherokee, driven by a 17-year-old male, failed to yield the right of way and collided with the motorcycle. Ellis was transported to TidalHealth Peninsula Regional, where he was later pronounced deceased. The teenage driver and his 18-year-old female passenger were not injured.
