Suwannee County, FL (November 27, 2025) – A horrific multi-vehicle collision claimed four lives, including two young children, Tuesday night in Suwannee County along US Highway 90, east of 87th Drive.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 9:50 p.m. on November 25 and involved three vehicles. A 76-year-old Lake City woman was driving a sedan carrying an 8-year-old girl and a 6-year-old girl. All three were pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident began when a 33-year-old man from Live Oak, driving a pickup truck, crossed the centerline and began traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes. His vehicle collided head-on with the sedan, then overturned and pinned him beneath the rear tire. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A third vehicle, driven by a 44-year-old Live Oak man, struck the first sedan shortly after the initial crash. He sustained serious injuries.

FHP confirmed that the pickup driver was unlawfully present in the U.S., and the investigation into the cause remains ongoing.
