Columbus, GA (December 16, 2025) – A man was fatally injured after being struck by a vehicle on County Line Road near the Manchester Expressway on the evening of December 14.
According to the Georgia State Patrol, officers with the Columbus Police Department were dispatched to the scene at approximately 8:09 p.m. Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan confirmed the victim as Jonathan Demetrius Powell, 48, who was pronounced dead at 8:48 p.m. at a local hospital.
