According to the Pennsylvania State Police, Robert Hale, a longtime Moxham resident, was fatally struck by a Jeep Grand Cherokee just after 5:30 p.m. on November 5 while attempting to cross Ohio Street near Park Avenue. Authorities say Hale suffered massive blunt force trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene by Cambria County Coroner Jeff Lees.
