According to the Michigan State Police, the collision occurred around 1:42 p.m. on October 17 at the intersection of North M-37 and West 10 Mile Road in Eden Township. Investigators say the semi was traveling southbound on M-37 when an SUV heading eastbound on 10 Mile Road attempted a left turn in front of the truck and failed to yield.
