Knox County, KY (December 23, 2025) – A 93-year-old man has died following a serious crash involving a semi-truck on US-25E in the Gray community Saturday evening.
According to the Kentucky State Police, the collision occurred around 6:30 p.m. on December 20 when a Kenworth tractor-trailer attempted to merge into the northbound lane by crossing the southbound side of the highway and stopping in the median. While stopped, the trailer’s driver-side was reportedly obstructing the southbound lane.
Crit Moses, who was driving a Toyota Prius southbound on US-25E, crashed into the side of the trailer. He suffered critical injuries and was airlifted to the University of Kentucky Hospital. On Sunday, December 21, officials confirmed that Moses had succumbed to his injuries. His death was pronounced by the Fayette County Coroner’s Office.
The crash remains under investigation by state authorities.
