Cassia County, ID (August 26, 2025) – A tragic crash involving a semi-truck and a pedestrian claimed the life of a 22-year-old man early Monday morning, August 25, along Interstate 84 in Cassia County.
According to the Idaho State Police, the incident occurred around 3:30 a.m. near milepost 234.7. Authorities say the pedestrian, a Rupert resident, had been driving westbound in a 1999 Chrysler 300 on the eastbound shoulder when he crashed.
