According to the New York State Police, Robin Wright was struck by a bullet to the face around 2:45 p.m. on August 27, 2025. Authorities say she was caught in the crossfire after a man, recently mugged by two individuals, began firing at his assailants. One of the bullets tragically hit Wright, who was not the intended target. She was transported to Mount Sinai Morningside in critical condition, where she was later pronounced dead.
