Florence, SC (September 24, 2025) – A deadly three-vehicle crash occurred Monday night in Florence County, leaving one person dead and two others hospitalized.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the collision happened around 7:45 p.m. on September 23 along West Main Street (U.S. Highway 378), near Katelyn Drive. Authorities report that a Toyota sedan traveling westbound crossed the center line and struck an eastbound Ford pickup head-on.
The impact caused a chain reaction, as a Volkswagen sedan, also traveling east, crashed into the rear of the Ford truck moments later.
