According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the fatal incident occurred at approximately 6:55 p.m. on September 24 when a black Land Rover SUV traveling southbound on South Voss Road attempted a left turn into a private driveway. The SUV collided with a red Hyundai Accent heading northbound.
The impact forced the Hyundai off the road, where it struck a nearby tree. Emergency responders transported the female passenger of the Hyundai to the hospital, where she sadly died from her injuries. Her identity has not yet been released.
