Pottsboro, TX (October 3, 2025) – A deadly two-vehicle collision shook the Pottsboro community on the afternoon of September 30, 2025, when a car traveling at high speed lost control and collided with another vehicle at the intersection of State Highway 289 and Farm to Market Road 120.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash occurred when one of the vehicles struck a curb, then veered into an oncoming car. The impact was severe enough to cause one of the vehicles to catch fire.
