Cullman County, AL (December 16, 2025) – Tragedy struck on Friday afternoon, December 12, when a two-vehicle crash along Interstate 65 near Good Hope in Cullman County resulted in one fatality and left five others injured.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, 33-year-old Gregory Booker of Cullman was killed after the Infiniti G35 he was riding in was hit by a truck at approximately 2:10 p.m. The collision happened in the northbound lanes of I-65. The driver of the Infiniti and another passenger sustained serious injuries and were airlifted to UAB Hospital in Birmingham. None of the occupants in the Infiniti were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash, according to troopers.
The truck’s driver and two juvenile passengers also suffered injuries and were taken to Cullman Regional Medical Center. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the circumstances that led to the deadly collision.
