Bell County, TX (October 13, 2025) – A tragic two-vehicle collision early Thursday morning claimed the life of 20-year-old David Jackson of Temple, Texas.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the fatal crash occurred around 4:58 a.m. on October 9 along State Highway 95 near Lindemann Road, between Holland and Bartlett. Investigators report that a 35-year-old man driving a 2017 Chevrolet pickup northbound veered into the opposite lane and collided head-on with a southbound 2017 Ford Mustang driven by Jackson.
Emergency personnel arrived to find Jackson deceased at the scene. The driver of the Chevrolet was transported to Baylor Scott and White Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
State Highway 95 was temporarily shut down while crews cleared the area and began an investigation. No further information has been released at this time.
