Santa Rosa County, FL (December 3, 2025) — A deadly early morning crash Tuesday claimed the life of one man and seriously injured another in Santa Rosa County, according to officials.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident occurred just before 6:00 a.m. on December 2 at the intersection of State Road 87 North and Coldwater Church Road. A 65-year-old man from Milton was driving a Mazda pickup southbound on SR-87 when his vehicle veered across the center line and collided head-on with a northbound Dodge pickup driven by a 51-year-old man from Navarre.
The Milton man was pronounced dead at the scene. The Navarre man sustained serious injuries and was transported to a hospital in Pensacola for emergency treatment.
