Fort Worth, TX (June 1, 2025) – Late Friday night, a motorcyclist lost their life following a deadly crash on Interstate 30 in downtown Fort Worth.
According to reports, officers responded to the scene shortly before 11:30 p.m. on May 30 in the eastbound lanes of I-30 near Old University Drive. The crash involved a motorcycle and another vehicle, though details regarding the events leading up to the collision remain under investigation.
Sadly, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities closed all eastbound lanes near Montgomery Street for several hours while the Fort Worth Police Department’s Traffic Investigations Unit assessed the scene.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the identity of the deceased pending notification of family members.
