Franklin, MO (January 19, 2025) – A rear-end collision occurred on westbound Interstate 44 near mile marker 253 at approximately 6:30 PM on January 18. The crash involved a 2020 Dodge Ram 1500 and a 2020 International LT625 semi-truck.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, multiple vehicles stopped abruptly due to a crash ahead. The driver of the Dodge Ram, a 35-year-old man from Wildwood, MO, applied the brakes, but the semi-truck, driven by a 60-year-old man from South Beloit, IL, collided with the rear of the Dodge.

The Dodge Ram sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene, while the semi-truck incurred extensive damage and was towed by Big Boys Towing. The Dodge driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to Mercy Washington Hospital by Meramec EMS.
