The collision occurred around 4 a.m. on January 13 at the intersection of I-30 Frontage Road and the Highway 161 service road.
Authorities report that a white Nissan traveling westbound on the I-30 Frontage Road failed to stop at a red light and collided with a southbound Dodge truck on the Highway 161 service road.
Both drivers, who were the sole occupants of their respective vehicles, were pronounced dead at the scene.
