According to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 8:30 p.m. on August 25 at the intersection of Falls of Neuse Road and Cedarhurst Drive. Raleigh Police and emergency medical responders rushed to the scene, where they found two vehicles had collided head-on. One person was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
