Stamford, CT (August 5, 2025) – A tragic hit-and-run accident over the weekend claimed the life of a 13-year-old boy in Stamford as he rode his mini-bike alongside family members.
According to reports, the crash occurred shortly before 9 p.m. on Saturday, August 2. The child had been riding near Courtland Avenue with a family member on a scooter when the two pulled to the side of the road. A vehicle then struck the boy, launching him from the mini-bike and into a nearby yard.
The driver fled the scene. Two nearby residents who heard the collision rushed outside and administered CPR until emergency crews arrived. The boy was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
