Yakima, WA (November 13, 2025) — A hit-and-run crash involving two teenage pedestrians sent both to the hospital Tuesday evening near a busy Yakima intersection.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the incident occurred on November 11 near the intersection of South Fair Avenue and East Spruce Street. Authorities reported that the two teens were crossing S Fair Avenue when a southbound SUV struck them.
In a troubling twist, the driver reportedly stopped and spoke briefly with the injured teens before fleeing the scene heading south. Witnesses at the location helped police identify the suspected driver as a 62-year-old Yakima man. As of now, no arrest has been made.
