Hutchinson, KS (August 12, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash Monday morning left three people injured in Reno County. The collision occurred at approximately 9:15 a.m. on August 11 at the intersection of US 50 and Buhler/Haven Road, near mile marker 248.9.
According to reports, a 2012 Toyota Tacoma driven by 62-year-old Jananna Lawson of Hutchinson was traveling southbound on Buhler Road when it failed to stop at a stop sign. The pickup entered the intersection and collided with the side of a westbound 2012 Honda Odyssey driven by 38-year-old Jasmin Valle of Newton.
Lawson suffered suspected serious injuries and was transported to Wesley Medical Center. Valle and her 7-year-old passenger, Ruben Valle, both sustained suspected minor injuries and were taken to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. The Kansas Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
