Lincoln County, MO (July 10, 2025) — A late-night collision left one woman injured Tuesday when two vehicles crashed on Route C west of South Ethlyn Road. The accident occurred on July 8 at approximately 11:35 p.m. and was investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
According to reports, a 2011 Nissan Armada driven by a 49-year-old man from Old Monroe was traveling eastbound when it crossed the center of the roadway and entered the path of a westbound 2006 Dodge Durango. The driver of the Durango, a 38-year-old woman from Troy, attempted to avoid the crash but was unable to do so. The front driver side of the Armada struck the front driver side of the Durango, causing the Durango to rotate and overturn into a ditch, where it came to rest on its top.
Emergency crews responded to the scene, and the injured driver of the Durango was transported to Mercy Hospital Lincoln by the Lincoln County Ambulance District with minor injuries. Both vehicles sustained significant damage and were towed from the scene. Authorities continue to investigate the crash and whether additional factors contributed to the collision.
