Wakulla County, FL (August 3, 2025) — A two-vehicle crash at a major intersection in Wakulla County left four people injured Friday evening, including two with serious injuries, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
According to reports, the crash happened around 7:45 p.m. on August 2 at the intersection of Spring Creek Highway and Coastal Highway (US-98). Authorities said an SUV traveling north on Spring Creek Highway entered the intersection, apparently failing to see a westbound pickup truck on Coastal Highway.
The pickup collided with the passenger side bumper of the SUV, causing both vehicles to spin. Emergency responders arrived on scene and treated all four individuals involved.
FHP reported that the driver and passenger in the SUV sustained minor injuries, while the pickup truck’s driver and passenger suffered serious injuries. All victims were transported to area hospitals for care. The exact cause of the crash remains under investigation.
