According to reports, the crash took place around 4:45 p.m. on August 21 near mile marker 39.6 in Sedgwick County. Authorities say the driver of a 2017 Buick Regal lost control of the vehicle, struck a barrier wall, and ultimately rolled into the west ditch.
The driver, identified as 33-year-old Jospeh Wells of Belle Plaine, Kansas, was taken to St. Francis Hospital with suspected minor injuries. Emergency crews responded quickly, and the vehicle was removed from the scene by Bud Roat’s Tow.
