Crystal Lake, IL (December 15, 2025) – A serious two-vehicle crash in Crystal Lake Friday morning resulted in at least one person being transported to the hospital with significant injuries.
According to the Illinois State Police, emergency crews from Crystal Lake Fire Rescue and Crystal Lake Police Department responded to the crash around 8:10 a.m. on December 12 at 161 South Virginia Road. One of the vehicles struck a utility pole and sustained heavy front-end damage. One victim was initially reported unconscious and was rushed to an area hospital via advanced life support.
